I'm a professor in the School of Languages and Linguistics at Southern Illinois University Carbondale. I specialize in morphosyntax, especially in the framework of Distributed Morphology. I also work on linguistic pedagogy and public outreach through constructed languages.

I also presently serve as the director of the University Core Curriculum (general education).
